In Home Care

East Brisbane In Home Child Care Service is committed to the safety and well being of all children and young people accessing our Service.
We support the rights of the child and will act without hesitation to ensure a child safe environment is maintained at all times.
We also support the rights and well being of Carers, Staff and Volunteers and encourage their active participation in building and maintaining a secure environment for all participants.

In Home Care is a unique child care service offered for children from 0 to 12 years, where children are cared for in the familiar environment of their own home by an approved carer.

In Home Care is a flexible form of child care that offers both respite and quality care for parents.

Parents whose child care needs cannot be met by an existing service may be eligible to access In Home Care.

Eligibility Criteria to access In Home Care:

  • Families living in rural and remote areas
  • Parents who work shiftwork or non-standard hours
  • Families with a parent or child who has a serious illness or disability
  • Families with multiple births (more than two children) and/or families with more than two children under school age

In Home Care is a government approved service for administering Child Care Benefit.
